The Governor-General, Viscount Galway, will leave Auckland to-mor-row for Taneatua en route for Wellington where His Excellency and Lady Galway will take up residence on March 6.

Mr J. H. Ledcerwood, of the Hamilton Y.M.C.A.. was appointed interim secretary to the Hamilton District Committee set up under the Physical Welfare and Recreation Act. 1937, at a special meeting of the committee, ‘held in the Hamilton Rorouph Council chamber* yesterday afternoon.
