DAMAGE TO MANUWAI CHILDREN’S COURT CHARGES Eight boys, ranging in age from 10 to 15, appeared before Mr F. W. Platte at a session of the children's court in Hamilton to-day, charged with breaking windows on the Roose Shipping Company’s vessel, Manuwai, while it lay grounded at the Hamilton wharf. Sergeant J. Farrell, who appeared for the police, stated that the mischief with which the boys were charged was done between December 1G and January 3. Nineteen window’s in the steamer were shattered, the damage done being estimated at £4. The boys were admonished and discharged by tbe Bench and their parent* ordered to pay for the damage done.
