CHURCH APPROVES
PROPOSAL FOR CLINIC PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALING (By Asso^r-tfonl CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday A proposal to establish a practical clinic for psychological healing in Dunedin under the direction of ministers of all denominations and doctors found ready encouragement among delegates attending the annual conference of the Methodist Church of New Zealand when it was discussed to-day. Ministers and laymen alike agreed that such a clinic would be in line with modern practice and that the service was one to be given by the Church. ‘‘Some investigations into the question of psychological healing in connection with the Christian ministry have been carried out in Dunedin,” said the Rev. D. O. Williams of Dunedin, ‘ and it is proposed to establish a practical clinic for this work.
