ITALY BENDING 30,000 BRITAIN NOT CONCERNED (United Press Assn.— Elec. TeL Copyright) (Received Feb. 21, 2 p_m.) LONDON, Feb. 20 The Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr R. A. Butler, said Italy intimated she was sending 30,000 troops to ensure the security of Libya. This was not regarded as a breach of the Anglo-lialian Agreement. He admitted it would restore the garrison to pre-agreement strength. ITALIANB ARRESTED ALLEGATIONS OF ESPIONAGE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Copyright) (Received Feb. 21, *2.30 p.m.) ROME, Feb. 20 The reinforeeements of the French Garrison in Somaliland is regarded in official circles as “making worse an already dangerous situation." It is strongly indicated that Italy will take “adequate precautionary military measures."
