Seven mem- . bers were initiated. Sister M. Bremner . acting as conductor and Financial Secretary Bro. Hebditch, P.G., as J instructor. Two letters of recomj mcndalion and one clearance were received. j The guinea donated by P.G. Bro. , Buick for the member securing the j most benefit members for the year was won by the oldest foundation member, P.D.G.M. Bro. Westbury. An invitation was received from the Loyal Te Awamutu Lodge to be pre--5 sent at “Brothers’ Evening” on February 27, and a large number signified . their intention of being present. An . invitation was also received from , Loyal Kirikiriroa Lodge to their meetl ing on February 27. ■ The toast of the visitors was responded to by the following lodges: Loyal Te Awamutu, Ngaruawahia, ■ Papatoctoe, Kirikiriroa and Hamilton. A hearty welcome was accorded Bro. Thomas, from the Loyal Johnston Lodge. Queensland. The social evening which followed was much appreciated. The orchestra was considerably augmented by Te Awamutu brethren. A military tap in costume by Misses P. Hebditch and 1). Johnson was heartily encored. Instrumental : ■ terns and novelty dances were in- ' eluded.
