FITNESS WEEK
HUNTLY CELEBRATIONS ADDRESSES TO PARENTS SCHOOL DRILL DISPLAYS (Special to Times) HUNTLY. Monday. An educational programme lia> been arranged to celebrate Fitness Week at lluntly. imperial attention will be given to exercises at the District High school, with talks to the children on physical fitness.. The Town Hall has been placed at the disposal of Hie school for the afternoons of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, when the local doctors will give addresses to parents and the senior scholars. Miss K. A. Salter, dental nurse, will speak to parents and senior scholars on the care of the teeth in relation to physical fitness. Miss L. M. Applegarih, domestic home science instructress, will give a talk anti demonstration at the manual training centre at the school to parents on matters connected with diet and everyday nutrition. Friday will be devoted to a physical drill display. During the week, instructions in swimming will be given under the direction of Mr C. 11.
