SUNSHINE AT TE RAPA POPULARITY OP NAVY BLUE Wrth an opportunity given at last for the wearing of light summer frocks and hats, women who attended the first day of the Waikato Racing Club's -summer meeting at Te Rapa on Saturday took full advantage of the occasion. After the heavy winds which •have prevailed for some weeks, the Ulght breeze gave little trouble, and feminine patrons donned their large straw hats with very little discomfort and most charming effect. Although there is a wide choice of ■colours at the disposal of women, they still seem to cling steadily to the attractive navy and white combination, and these two shades predominated at the meeting.
