SATURDAY’S BRIDES
HOLLOWAY—BARTON
PEARL-TIN TED SATIN GOWN MAIDS IN WISTARIA St. Peter’s Cathedral, Hamilton, was beautifully decorated for the marriage on Saturday evening, February 18, of Mary Ohia, third daughter of Mr and Mrs' C. P- Weatherhog, was the officiating minister. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a charming gown of deep pearl-tinted satin fashioned with a softly gathered bodice and shirred shoulder-line, the sleeves being full and shirred from wrist to elbow io form a peak. The close-fitting skirt, flaring from the knees, was designed with two in--set panels, the back forming a wide train of three scallops appliqued with ice-pink water-lilies. Her embroidered ice-pink tulle veil fell over her face and was caught to the head by a top-knot of pearl-tinted gold-tipped water-lilies. She carried a shower bouquet of Lilium auratum, begonias and maidenhair fern. The Bridal Group In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Laura Barton. Miss Nancy Barton and Miss Esther Barton, sisters of the bride, and Miss Adri Holloway, sister of the bridegroom. orchids and shoulder-length stiffened tulle veils on their heads. Elbowlength mauve gloves completed the, ensemble, and their flowers were bouquets of tiger lilies, begonias and maidenhair fern.
