NATIONAL CLUB
FORMATION IN HAMILTON OPENING IN MARCH The prospect of a National Club for Lhe district was mooted before the election and Ihe interest and enthusiasm of the members of the National Party since the election has now made the project possible. The divisional executive of the South Auckland Division has approved of the forming of a National Club, and meetings of the branches have been held at Whatawhata, Koromatua, Te Rapa, Horsham Downs, Te Kohanga, Ngaruawahia, Onewhero, Te Kowhai. At all these places enthusiastic support has been received. Rooms on the top floor of the Toorak Chambers have been secured, to which alterations are now being made and the club will be officially opened by the leader of the party, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, on March 25. The membership of the club is already assured, and a general meeting of members and intending members will be held early in March. The object of the. National Club will be to bring together members of the party in a social sense: to provide facilities for country members visiting Hamilton; to entertain visiting parliamentarians and other members of the party and to provide facilities for the propagation of the beliefs of the party.
