YACHT RACE WINNER AUCKLAND DISAPPOINTMENT 18-FOOTER CHAMPIONSHIP (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Saturday After an outstanding performance, the Auckland yacht Jeanette won the stcond race yesterday of the series of three for the world's 18-footer championship only to be disqualified for a breach of the rules in attempting to force an overlap a- the Shoal Bay mark when not entiled to do so. Memutu and Limerick were also disqualified for a breach of Hie same rule, and Miracle was disqualified for failing to keep clear of another dou.l

Malvina had trouble with her ringtail, resulting in one of her crew iteing tossed overboard. A launch rescued him but Malvina withdrew from the race. There was a great duel between the Sydney yacht St. George and Jeanette, the finishing times being as follows: Jeanette, 4h 47m 18s; Si. George, 4h 48m 335; Taree, 4h 49m 255; Yaalele, 4h 49m 355; Ariine, 4h 49m 535; Limerick, 4h 50m 4 is; Manu, 4h 51m 41s; Irina, 4h 52m 9s; Riptide, 4h 53m; Manene. 4h 53m 48s.
