BOWLING MATCH

HARDLEY SHIELD TO-DAY’S PLAY IN HAMILTON AUCKLANDERS’ VISIT The most important representative ftxture of the year as far as South Auckland bowlers are concerned, the annual match between the South Auckland Bowling Centre and the Auckland Bowling Centre for the Hardley Shield, began on the greens of the Hamilton club this morning. The Auckland Centre was represented by 50 bowlers, comprising 10 teams, while the South Auckland players were drawn from the various clubs in the centre’s area.
