MAKING HER FIRST FILM With a large trunk, several suitcases and two hat-boxes, petite Lois Green, who has appeared on the New Zealand stage on many occasions and “Over Fhe Goes,” arrived in Sydney from Melbourne recently to make her first film at Cinesound Studios. She will be Hie heart, interest in the new comedy, “Gone to the Dogs,” starring the popular comedian, George Wallace. Lois, who is thrilled with the prospect of facing the cameras, has just been holidaying at Seaford, Victoria. This was her first real vacation in six years of theatrical work. Her role in “Gone to the Dogs” will be the last glimpse Australia will see of this talented young actress, who has had such a sensational stage career. Flm leaves in April for England to further her theatrical work. “I have already received a cable offering me work in England,” she said, “But. 1 feel I would rather wait until I arrive in London before I make definite plans. At present, I am considering going home by America.
