BPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) the special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, cover.ng the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: General situation: An anticyclone covers the north island but pressure Is beginning to fall In the south under the influence or a depression located over the south-west Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with northerlies gradually predominating. Wcathf-r fair to fine with rising teniporainres. Beas slight to moderate.
