If you have no entry forms use ordinary foolscap and write on one side of the paper only. 1939 Show Dates—Tuesday, May 30th, to Tuesday, June 6th, 1939. ALL SCHOOL EXHIBITS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED AND FORWARDED BEFORE THE MAY HOLIDAYS, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, AS FOLLOWS: SUPERINTENDENT, SCHOOL SECTION, Waikato Winter Show, HAMILTON. From School A SILVER CHALLENGE CUP is offered by Mr. J. Varney for the most points in the Primary School Section. Present Holder: Whitiora SchooL Please carefully note the following conditions: Work exhibited most have been done subsequent to Ist Feb, 1939. Only children under the age of 16 years, except where otherwise stated may compete in this section. Children other than those attending State Schools may compete in this Section. Subject in all respects to the printed Show Regulations, as appearing in the 1939 Schedule of Prizes. ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE MARKED WITH THE CLASS NUMBER ON THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER, AND THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE EXHIBITOR ON THE BACK OF EACH EXHIBIT. No exhibit will be received except under the express condition that the Exhibitor will comply with and submit to the Rules, Regulations, and By-laws of the Association in all respects All work must be certified by School Teachers as having been done in the SchooL Only one prize to be awarded to any one pupil in any one class of exhibit. Entries to be restricted to six (ff) from each school in each class, except in drawing and colour work. Only first and second year pupils of Junior High Schools eligible to compete in Primary School Division. In all School Competitions, at the discretion of the Judge, fewer or no prizes may be awarded if paucity of entries and quality of work suggest this course. EXHIBITS:—AII Exhibits must be forwarded to the Secretary, Exhibition Buildings, Hamilton, before the May Holidays. Cookery and Needlework Exhibits must be at the Show Buildings before 9 p.m. on Monday, May 29th, 1939. No entry fee in this section exceDt in the SEWING, COOKERY and ART CLASSES. When making Entries in the COOKING, SEWING and ART CLASSES the name of each exhibitor in each class must be given.
