Hamilton revealed itself as a batting side last week by compiling the first really good score of the season. 'The side’s opponents, Old Boys, started off well in the effort to overhaul Hamilton’s total of 234 and the resumption of play to-morrow should bring some keen play. Hamilton East, the leading- team this season, have lost one wicket with only 17 runs on the board in their attempt to meet Claudelands’ total of 194, giving indications of a keen conchision to the match to-morrow.
