V. P. BOOT’S TOUR
LAST SYDNEY APPEARANCE SECOND IN 440 YARDS RACE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. Ift. 3.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 16 V. P, Boot, New Zealand, in his last Sydney appearance finished second in an invitation 440 yards handicap race at Rushcutter's Bay Oval last night. C. J. Sefton (15 yards) was the winner in 50 3-5 seconds, Boot being inches away, his time being 50 7-10 s.
