Copyright ) (Received Feb. 16, 12.55 p.m.) OTTAWA, Feb. 15 In opening the debate for the ratification of the trade treaty between Canada and the t'nited States. th<Prime Minister, in Hie House of Commons. declared that Canadian co-oper-ation made possible the most important agreement in modern times and a great contribution to better relations among the nations. In defining the Canadian trade policy, the Premier asserted that the Dominion was committed to developing freer trade relations with countries with which there can be no question of a disturbance of good political relations. It was always ready to add to these countries others whose politics are guided by the same democratic ideals.
