TELEVISION IN BRITAIN
CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEE LORD CAD MAN APPOINTED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 13 The chairmanship of the Television Advisory Committee has been accepted by Lord Cadman. The post was rendered vacant bv the death of Lord Selsdon. Lord Cadman is chairman of the Anglo-lranian Oil Company, Limited, and Irak Petroleum Company, and a director of the Suez Canal Company and the Great Western Railway company. He was a member of the Committee of Inquiry into the Post office in 1932 and of the Television Commission in 1934.
