COMMENT IN ENGLAND ROYAL SHOW CHILLERS INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES Entries In the class 233 for a cfifTler steer at. the Waikato Royal Show were favourably commented upon by English judges after the carcases had been judged on the hooks In England. The results of the English Judging (previously published) were. —H. Windsor. 1; Whewell Bros., 2; V. H. Nolan, 3. Following were the comments of the judges on the individual entries: Pen No. 54 CH. and S. Rhodes).—A very good bullock, good shape, full of meat. Pen No. 55 'H. and S. Rhodes).— Long logged bullock, buttock not rounded enough, thin loin, good forequarters. Pen No. 58 H. AS. Rhodes).—Too long in the leg—small buttock, thin loin, good forequarters. Pen No. 59 (W. C. Mears). —Very good bullock, good shape and full of meat hut too heavy for average butcher. Forequarters fat and wasteful. Pen No. 60 *(W. H. Hall).—Very good bullock but dark fleshed. Pen No. 61 (W. H. Hall).—Well shaped bullock, fell away from loin. Pen No. 62 (A. H. Storey).—Well shaped, not thick enough in the loin, pood forequarters. Pen No. 63 (A. H. Storey).—Well shaped, a little too long in the leg. Pen No. 64 'A. C. Allen). —Excellent bullock, well shaped, short leg. lean, full of meat, forequarters too lean. Pen No. 65 (A. C. Allen). —Good bullock, good weight, well shaped and well covered, good forequarters. Pen No. 66 fKereone Ltd. .—Excellent bullock, short leg. rounded buttock, short and thick rump and loin, forequarters too fat. Pen No. 67 (Fhattocks Ltd.' l .—Well shaped bullock, good weight and full of meat, pood forequarters. Prize Carcase Praised Pen No. 68 (H. Windsor). — First prize winner. Ideal weight bullock, short leg, excellent shape. well covered for the weight, full of meat, short and thick in the rump and loin, small flank and kidney knob, good lean forequarters. Pen No. 69 F. K. Thomas'.—Very pood bullock, heavy in the top piece but falls away badly in the rump and loin, forequarters too fat. Pen No. 70 (Whewell Rros.'.— Second prize winner. Very fine bullock. a little heavier than the first prize winner but well shaped and full of meat, rounded buttock, short leg. thick rump and loin, good, well covered forequarter. Pen No. 71 (T. Church).—Very small lean bullock, very thin in the loin, not finished enough. Pen No. 72 H. J. Church). —Small and plain bullock, not finished enough. Pen No. 73 'D. E. Finlayson .—Good bullock but much longer in the leg than most of the entries, good forequarters. Pea No- 74 (H. J. Finlayson.)-—Well
