ACCIDENT CASES

CAR ROLLS OVER BANK Two passengers were injured when a car driven by Mr J. W. Dent, of Wnakatane, skidded and rolled over a bank near Lake Rotorua on Sunday. Mrs R. Dent, mother of the driver, received internal injuries, and Mr Bruce Graham suffered a deep cut on the forehead. Their condition is not serious. WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED Mrs Olive Evelyn Walker (23), of Ponsonbv, is in a serious condition in hospital with a fracture of the skull as the result of a collision between two cars in one of which she was travelling:. The driver of one car, Mr Harold Hack (23), single, suffered abdominal injuries. ELDERLY WOMAN HURT A collision between a light car and a Government omnibus occurred at Hastings, and a passenger in the car, Mrs Emma Tate (75), of Hastings, suffered severe injuries and was taken to hospital. Her condition is serious. CRASH INTO CREEK Mrs Calder. of Te Hapara, suffered broken ribs and her husband an injured arm when a car in which they were travelling left the road and rolled 50 feet into the bed of a. creek. Her two daughters and the driver, Mr F. L. Huxtable, escaped injury. CYCLIST IN COLLISION Barney Clark (ii), of Te Puke, suffered severe head injuries when his bicycle came into collision with a service bus. His condition is serious.
