AIR FORCE SQUADRON

ESTABLISHED AT BLENHEIM (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday The Minister of Defence., the Hon. F. Jones, announced to-day that the Cabinet had approved of the establishment. of a regular Air Force squadron at. Blenheim. The station will he equipped with single-engine aircraft, for which orders have been placed in Great Britain. The strength of the squadron will he 18 officers and 131 other ranks. The establishment of this station forms part of the recent expansion programme approved in connection with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Particulars relating to the remaining portion of the programme will he released at an early date.
