Feb. 11 A train bound from Tarrasa to Barcelona laden with workmen, when travelling down an incline, crashed into a stationary waggon near the Sarria tunnel. Subsequently it crashed into a train standing at San Gervasio, when 31 people were killed and 100 were injured.
