SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, cover.ng the Walkato-Thames Valley IS follows: Forecast: Moderate to strong southwesterly winds. Weather fair to fine and cool. Seas rather rough to rough on the west coast; moderate to rather rough on the east. General situation: An anticyclone covers the northern and north-western Tasman Sea, but pressure is low to the south east of the Dominion.
