TE AWAMUTU DISPLAY FINE EXHIBITION OF CATTLE GOOD ENTRY OF HORSES (Special Reporter) TE AWAMUTU, Saturday There "was a good attendance of the public at the 17th annual show of the Te Awamutu Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Association, which was held to-day in fine weather at Albert Park. With large entries in all sections, to-day’s exhibition of stock was comprehensive and one of the best yet seen in Te Awamutu. A full programme of ring events provided entertainment during the day, a high standard of jumping being apparent in the hunting events. Jerseys comprised the strongest showing of dairy cattle, excellent entries being received in every class for this breed. In the horse section good entries of draughts and hunters were forward in all classes, the majority being of excellent type and providing the judges with a difficult task in distributing the awards. The pig section was well supported and there was a high-class exhibition of the various breeds. A feature of the show was the home industries section, where there was a comprehensive array of dairy, home and garden produce. CATTLE Jerseys—Pedigree ' Judge: Mr A.
