FIRE IN LIME WORKS
EBSENTIAL PLANT SAVED OUTBREAK NEAR OAMARU (By Telegrtpn.—press Association) OAMARU, SaturcUy A fire occurred late last night at the Kakanui works of McDonalds Oaraaru Lime Company, destroying part of the buildings of the plant. The insurances with the North British office total over £OOOO. Loss is inevitable but the company saved essential plant to maintain the regular output of lime for the freezing works and builders. The output of land lime will be temporarily dislocated.
