Copyright) (Received Feb. 10, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 9 The Minister of Labour, Mr Ernest Brown, speaking in the House of Commons, said the increase in unemployed was regretted in all parts of the House, but it would be a mistake to exaggerate its significance. The increase last month was due in a large part to the fact that the increase in unemployment which normally follows the cessation of Christmas activities, had accenuated this year by bad weather. He also made a point that long term unemployment was steadily’ on the decrease. 'Hie Labour Party's censure motion will be debated on Thursday.
