HAMILTON SHEEP SALE Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report as follows on their Hamilton sheep sale held on Wednesday:— A full yarding of lambs came forward, including a number of good lines from the back country. Bidding was brisk and a total clearance was made under the hammer at prices we.l in advance of late rates. Forwardconditioned black-faced lambs ranged from 12s 9d to 13s id, medium 11s to 11s 9d, small 9s to 10s 6d, good shorn Romney wether lambs 12s 3.1 to 12s 9d, medium 9s 6d to 11s 3d, small 6s 6d to 7s lOd, cull lambs 4s to 5s 6d, medium Romney ewe lambs 12s 6d to 14s 3d, small 10s to 11s 6d, local 2-tooth ewes 25s to 28s, black-faced 2-tooth ewes 16s to 18s, 5 and 6-year ewes ex Raglan 14s 6d, 5 and 6-year ewes (local) 14s 3d. small mixed aged ewes 16s 6d, -aged Romney rams (15s, aged Southdown rams 1 to 2 gns.
