TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME / WAIKATO SHIELD GAMES' While no major tournaments will be played on Hamilton bowling greens tomorrow. bowlers will be fully occupied with club competitions and championships. The Hamilton Club will be holding a club full-rink tournament, for the Wilson Shield, plav commencing at 1.30 p.m. The Claudelands Club will be visiting Cambridge lo play a challenge match for the Waikato Challenge Rinks Shield, while t.he same club will have a team at the Railway Club's greens to j play for the Challenge Pairs Shield. Since the Railway Club won this shield they have defended it twice successfully. and to-morrow’s game should prove highly interesting. NIGHT PLAY RESULTS AT CAMBRIDGE (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. The Cambridge Bowling Club’s night ] bowling committee held a tournament last . night, when 12 teams took part. At the close of three rounds of eight heads each, < teams skipped by J. Mclvor and J. Bracken- i ridge were equal with three wine each. The latter won the toss for the trophies. On Wednesday evening, under the new electric lighting at the Tourist Domain, an inter-club match was played by Te Aroha and Morrinsville* The greens were in excellent condition, and play was keen throughout.
