DESTRUCTIVE FIRE
HOTEL AND STORE BURNED OUTBREAK AT ORMONDVILLE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) DANXBVXRIBE, Thursday A fire at Ormondviile early this morning destroyed the Settlers’ Arms Hotel which was burned sev«»n years ago. The prepent licensee, Mr Ge*. Badeley. the ex-All Black, had not long taken over. An adjoining stor* owned and occupied by Mr W. R. Oates was also destroyed. The ft re started there and spread to the hotel. The insurance on the store was £llOO in Lloyds' office and that on the hotel is not available.
