In the space of a quarter of a century Air Paul lias seen this Heady transformation, with the knowledge' that, his work has borne fruit. Besides being the guiding genius of

the Winter Show. Air Paul has achieved distinction in oilier spheres. During his term as president of the Hamilton Beautifying Society he lias taken a loading paid in the beautifying of the town, and as chairman of the Domain Board has assisted in the provision of facilities for sporting bodies. The Waikaio Children’s Camp League is an institution of which the town might well be proud, and for the foundation of this Air Paul was responsible. To other community services Air Paul has given a helping hand, and in liis efforts for their suecessful functioning lie has not spared himself.
