WAIPA RACING CLUB FIXTURE AT TE RAPA AX INTERESTING PROGRAMME Stakes totalling £1775 will be di»tributed by the Waipa Racing Club for Its winter meeting at Te Rapa on June 25, the principal event being the W. G. Park Steeplechase, of £450, to be run over a course of about two and a-half miles. Other events on the seven-race programme are a hack and hunters' steeplechase, of £2OO, a hack six furlong event worth £l5O, the Woodstock Stakes, of £3OO, 1} miles; the Orakau Hurdles, of £250, 1J miles; the Seddon Handicap, of £2OO, 7 furlongs, and the Hairini Hack, of £2OO, 1 mile.
Nominations for all events are due on Friday, June 10, at 5 p.m., with Messrs. Blomfleld and Co., Shortland Street, Auckland, and at 8 p.m. with the secretary (Mr J. G. Wvnyard), Te Awamutu.
