A REDUCTION PROBABLE IMPERIAL TELEGRAPHS BILL United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON. May 30 The Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Captain Euan Wallace, in the House of Commons to-day, in moving the second reading of the Imperial Telegraphs Bill, under which Empire rates have been already reduced, stated that the rate of the reduction since September 25. on the basis of the present traffic, would amount to £500.000 a year. He indicated that there was a prospect of a further reduction of cable rates. The Bill was read a second time.
