ALLEGED WRONGFUL ARREST TWO JAPANESE VESSELS united Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrtffh: (Received June i. t. 30 p.m.) DARWIN. June 1 Writs claiming £IO.OOO damages from the Commonwealth Government for the wrongful detention of two Japanese vessels were lodged by counsel for the Japanese interests. The claims arise out of the arrest and subsequent release of the sampan Seiclio Maru and the mothership New Guinea Maru by the patrol boat Larrakia last June.
