STIMSON’S SERVICE STATION

NOTED FOR ITB FRIENDLY SERVICE STOP AT THE “ MIDLAND ” Motorists are quick to appreciate any little act or thought which is offered by a service station, as it is customary for- those in charge of benzine bowsers to issue what is asked for, collect the money and serve the next customer if a car is waiting, or to retire to the office and “ while away ” the time until the next car stops for its fuel requirements. Not so with Stimson’s, however, who express their Interest in no uncertain manner, in every car driver and his car as if it were their own vehicle. “ How is the water, sir?” asks the attendant after Ailing the benzine tank, “and is your oil all In order?” After receiving the answer in the affirmative or attending to these highly important matters, if the answer is in the negative, the “Stimson” trained man then quietly looks at his customer's tyres and if they appear to be on the Cat side the owner is recommended to have them inflated, and Stimson's, of course, do this service all as part of their work—and, ot course, at no charge whatsoever. It is, in fact, their pleasure and privi--1 lege. Stimson’s Service Station, indeed, render a service not seen elsewhere. If they discover through conversation, that their customer is ignorant of the beauty spots of the district or is not conversant with the various mileages between different points, Stimson’s gladly advise them, and, moreover, furnish them, free of charge, with a most useful chart especially prepared for such persons. It is not any wonder, then, why so many cars “ pull up at. Stimson’s ” whose service station supplies all the leading brands of oil and benzine and all car accessories. In short —“ Stop at Stimson’s for Service,” the Service Station known as ihe ” Midland,” which is situated in Victoria Street, just north of London Street.
