Min. Monday 63 55 Tuesday 64 46 Mean Temperature, 55 deg. The barometer read 3 30.05 and has a rising tendency. Generally fair weather is indicated to-day and to-mor-row, with lower temperature and south-westerly winds prevailing. The Rainfall Rainfall for 24 hours ended 9 o'clock this morning, .OOin. Rainfall for previous 2 4 hours, .46in. Rainfall for June to date, .OOin. Average rainfall for June, 5.19in. Rainfall for year to date, 20.9i1n. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by tbo Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoTbamc* Vsll»r u a* follows: Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds, later north-westerly predominating and freshening. Weather mainly fair but occasional scattered and mainly light rains probable. Temperatures mild, seas slight to moderate. General Inference: Pressure has rispn somewhat over the Dominion, especially to the eastward. A series of slight westerly depaegsions has be**n eroggfnsr the South Island, and a deep one Is now located over southeastern Australia.
