RELIABILITY TRIAL
HAMILTON MOTOR-CYCLE OLUB AUCKLAND RIDER SUCCESSFUL Thirty-three riders from the Auckland Club, the military platoon and from various parts of the Waikato took part in a reliability trial held by the Hamilton Motor-Cycle Club over the week-end. The trial comprised nine different sections snd some very fine performances were registered. C. Keith Auckland/ led the field in the individual contest to win the Chrysler Cup with 35 points deduction. while C. Goldfinch, a club mate, was second with 40 points to annex the Dolly Varden Cup Third place was filled by C, Brindle (Auckland I with 45 points. The teams' prize for th* Houden Clip was won by the Hamilton Club’s A team A. McLaren. I». McLaren. A. Perry, A. Advice has been received that the New Zealand Auto Cycle Union is holding its annual conference in Hamilton In August, when one of the most Important matters to come under discus«ion will be the formation of the new road safety motor-cycle committee In this respect the Hamilton Club has followed the lead of the Christchurch body and is bringing in a scheme for patrolling roads in the interests of motor-cyclists.
