Motor-Car Conversion. Charged with the unlawful conversion to their own use of a motor-car valued at £355, two labourers, Albert William Gauntlett (30'. and Donald McKenzie (27), pleaded not guilty when they appeared before Mr C. r! Orr Walker. S.M., in the Police Court at Auckland yesterday. Gauntlett was convicted and sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment with hard labour. The charge against McKenzie was dismissed.
