BLOMFIELD DEFEATS MOSM (By Telegraph.—Prut A Mod alloc) DUNEDIN, Sunday Although the professional wrestling bout held on Saturday night betwean Blomfleld and Moen, both 16at. 81b, was fast and Interesting, It oarae to an unsatiafaotory ending. Moen took a fall with a headlock In the fifth round, Blomfleld equalising In the seventh with a clamp. Moen was still feeling the effects when he came out for the eighth round and, sparring for time, he used the ropes whenever possible. At thla stage the referee, Mr Frank Anderson, stopped the bout and gava the decision to Blomfleld, although Moen Insisted that he was able and willing to oontlnue.
KENNEDY BEATS JENSEN (By Telegraph.—Preaa Association) O’REYMOUTH, Sunday After a lively encounter Jaek Kennedy defeated Leo Jensen by two falls to one In & -wrestling contest last night, the bout ending In the sixth round. Kennedy gained the first fall with a body press following a series of elbow Jolts In the second round. Jensen equalised with a Japanese armlock in the fourth round, and Jensen was compelled to submit Immediately afterwards by a Boston crab.
