LATEX WATERPROOF COATS With the cold winter weather at hand, thoughts turn to the surest way of combating it. A “Latex” waterproof coat solves the problem. Just read on and obtain a first-hand idea of this high-grade article. Latex coats arc made from the finest English tweeds which have been made waterproof by a new process so that the material always remains soft and pliant. Only three or four years ago all waterproof material had to be vulcanized—that is, subjected to tremendous heat—and this old method hardened the materials. No wool could be vulcanised as the heat was too intense. Willi the new method, wool has become a favourite material for waterproofing, and has given us coats which are warm as well as waterproof. All Latex coats are guaranteed waterproof. In the men's range Latex coats are made up from genuine West of England waterproofed, all-wool tweeds In light brown, medium brown and grey shades. The cut, the make and the finish of these coals are excellent, they are fully lined with silk and can also be obtained with a light fleecy lining if desired. The men’s coats are also made in double and single texture Indiana cloths in light, medium and dark fawns, some of the double texture materials having a plain self facing on the inside and others a check lining. The ladies’ range consists of some eighty or ninety patterns including light, medium and heavy weight tweeds, gabardines, waterproof silks and Indiana cloths. These coats are soft, smart, and warm and are quite suitable for wearing as dress coats on fine days as well as being waterproof for wet weather. In fact you cannot distinguish a Latex tweed waterproof from an ordinary tweed coat. Last but not least there is the Latex line of children's navy waterproof school coats. These are made of first grade English cloth with a warm fleecy lining- They are more than raincoats. as they keep the children warm on frosty mornings and really no other school coat is needed. The navy used in Latex children’s coats is guaranteed a fast dye. These coals are doublebreasted style with belt and Raglan sleeves, two slit pockets and a collar that can be buttoned right up to the neck. All Latex coats have taped seams, an essential factor if coats are to be absolutely waterproof and they are completely odourless. They are made especially to our own order, and given reasonable care they will remain waterproof for years. Latex also make fishing waders, motor cycle suits, cycle capes, ladies’ and men’s golf jackets, ladies’ golf skirls and two very attractive styles in Indies’ capes.
