SYDNEY AIR CRASH EX-HAMILTONIAN INJURED AUCKLAND, Monday. Me Raymond Lawson is a brother of Mr L. W. Lawson and Mrs E. S. Holmes, of Devonpori. He is 33 and is married with one son. Mr Raymond Lawson was educated at Te Awamutu Primary School and Hamilton High School. Later he was with Messrs. Turnbull and Jones, electricians, and went to Australia in 1925. He travelled as a radio engineer. Two years ago he joined the Australian Air Force and became a member of the City of Sydney Bombing Squadron. HAMMOND AS CAPTAIN? At Brussells Lacroix and De Berman defeated Mahommed Ghaus and Sawhney, 4—6, 3—6, 6—4, 7—-5, B—4. At Belgrade Schroeder (Sweden), defeated Pallada (Yugoslavia), 6—5, I—6, 6—2. 6—2, 6—B, o—3.
