CLEARANCE AT OTOROHANGA The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held a clearing sale at Otorohanga on Friday, on account of Mr A. Yaloise. There was a large attendance of buyers and competition was keen, a total clearance being effected. The herd of 102 cows came forward in good condition and sold at satisfactory values. Seventeen wellgrown in-calf Jersey heifers averaged £8 7s; good Jersey and Jersey cross cows, July culvers. £lO to £ll 13s; later calvers, £8 5s to £9; medium quality Jersey cross cows, £0 10s to £8; more backward, £5 13s to £0 ss; Jersey cows, unsound and threequarter cows, £3 12s Cd to £i; good duality Jersey heifers, £9 to £9 15s; Jersey heifers, small. £7 10s to £8 fs: 20 good Jersey calves. £ i 17s Cd: sound 18-months hull. £7 ss; aged farm geldings, £9 and £l6; sows in pig, £4; sows with litters, £6 15s to £7 ss; store pigs, 22s to 325. Sundries and farm implements sold at satisfactory prices.
