THE “CENTREWAY”

HAMILTON’S RESTAURANT DE LUXE The growth of Hamilton during the last few years has been phenomenal and amongst the many businesses that have sprung into being, there are many dining rooms, but it is very true to say that the Centreway Tea and Dining Rooms are still the best and most popular refreshment rooms in town. It will need a very high-class restaurant j indeed, to excell the Centreway bei cause the Centreway dispenses a meal j which even is unexcelled in the large ’cities. | The rooms at the Centreway are (large and airy and the delightful home •comforts (including a glowing fire) are •most inviting to the shopper who (naturally seeks a haven to rest his or her tired and weary feet. By visiting the Centreway a rest in delightful surroundings is made possible but that is I not all. Whilst enjoying their rest ; their hunger is also appeased with the i finest meal obtainable. Nowhere in New Zealand does one have such a varied menu placed before them and every course served to the diner is cooked to a turn—it is Just like Mother’s meal at home. Then, again, there is the delicious morning and afternoon teas which are the talk of Hamilton. Tastefully served, the cakes, gems, savouries and scones are all made from the freshest dairy produce and the finest of ingredients obtainable. If you ever want to give your friends a real treat, then the best- and sure way is to take them to the Centreway where the hot luncheons, described above, are served between 12 and 2. On the other hand If you have half-an-hour to spend you could not do better than visit these rooms during the afternoon and talk the matter over, over a cup of tea. It |is quite true to say that, the Centreway Tea and Dining Booms are above the ordinary and they are also above Varney’s, the outfitters. In Victoria St.!
