NEXT HAMILTON BOUT FRALEY OR IVIOEN LIKELY .STEELE ARRIVING NEXT WEEK ! (By “Ringsider”) No match has been fixed for the next wrestling bout in Hamilton as | yet but the Waikato Wrestling Association is endeavouring to secure either Pat Fraley or Andy Moen as one of the principals. * Both are among the leading lights in the wrestling game at the present time and either would make a fine draw cardA fixture is anticipated within a day or two. In ten matches this season Moen has not been defeated, an honour which goes to Pat Fraley, also, but the latter has fought seven bouts I only. Moen and Fraley met once this j season in a fine bout at Auckland. A I return bout in Hamilton would be wel- I come to the fans. Moen has been busy i so far this season. Last nigh Ihe fought j Blomfleid at Dunedin (the result was j not available at the time of writing and | is not included in his unbeaten record), j whflgj on Monday night next he will engage with Meehan at Invercargill. Meehan made a hit with the public in Hamilton last week and the Invercargill bout should be a ITne one. Ray Steele Arrives Monday Ray Steele, who was mentioned in last Saturday’s notes as being an arrival -for the New Zealand mat world next Monday, has several engagements already. On Monday he will step off the boat to meet Abe Tourist at Auckland. Steele has another Auckland engagement later but he has been booked for a tour by the Dominion Wrestling Union and he will most likely visit the main centres. He may be expected in Hamilton at a later date. He was I in New Zealand two seasons ago but he had to make a hurried return to the United States owing to the uncertainty of the world championship at the time when Detton had not lifted the title. Pat Fraloy for the South After wrestling his first seven matches in New Zealand in the North Island, Pat Fraley will tour south next week and his first match in the South Island will be at Christchurch against Tonti next Wednesday. i Baffert Leaving New Zealand ! After a short but popular run in New j Zealand, A 1 Baffert will return to { America next week and it -is expected that McKay will follow shortly afterwards. Baffert was seen on two occasions in Hamilton and in both bouts he indicated that he was a type of wrestler that appealed to the crowd. He prefers the hard straight wrestling.
