TATUANUI PRESENTATION

Mr and Mrs F. J. Shirley were accorded a complimentary social in the Tatuanui Hall recently in view of their departure to reside in Morrinsville. On behalf of the people' of the district, Mr A. ,T. Luxton made a presentation of a dinner set to Mr and Mrs Shirley. Mention was made of Mr Shirley’s service as chairman of the Tatuanui Hall committee for many years, president of the Tatuanui tennis club, and a member of the school committee. Mr Shirley has been farming at Tatuanui for twenty years, and has been a director of the Talua Dairy Company for many years.
