SAFE REMOVED

BURGLARS AT PALMERSTON (By Telegraph.—Press Association) PALMERSTON X.. Friday Burglars last night entered "the premises of Mr J. L. Bennett, auctioneer, Rangilikei Street, and removed the safe, the exact contents of which are unknown, though it included cheques and money. Entrance was gained by breaking a window in the back entrance. A hand truck left near the main door suggested that the safe was wheeled across the floor to a vehicle backed against the rear door.
