OTOROHANGA MOTORIST CAR STRUCK BY EXPRESS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Friday A motor-driver named Sanson residing at Otorohanga sustained grave head injuries including a fractured skull when his light car was struck by an express train on the Cook Street crossing shortly after mid-day. Eye-witnesses state that Mr Sanson was driving at a leisurely pace and it appeared his attention was diverted towards the shunting yards and he failed to notice the approach of the express.
