DEATH OF A BISHOP
DR. JAMES B. SEATON DISTINGUISHED CHURCH CAREER (Official Wireless) (Received Mav 27. 3.15 p.m.) r * RUGBY, May 26 The death has occurred of the Bishop of Wakefield. Dr. J. B. Seaton, at the age of 70 years. Dr. Seaton had been Bishop of Wakefield since 1928. From 1909 to 1914 he was Archdeacon of Johannesburg and Rector of St. Mary's. Johannesburg, and from 1914 to 1928 was President of the Cuddesdon Theological College and Vicar of Cuddesdon. He had written several books on religious subjects.
