CELEBRATIONS IN ENGLAND ROYAL COMMAND CONCERT 2000 SINGERS PARTICIPATE (Official Wireless) RUGBY, May 25 As part of the Empire Day celebrations yesterday a Royal Command concert was given in the Albert Hall, London, in the presence! of Their Majesties. Nearly 2000 singers and players from different parts of the country contributed to a representative programme of British music. The Empire Day dinner, given by the Empire Societies, was attended by the Duke of Kent.
