WELCOME HOME PARTY
evening at monavale A jolly party of people from Cambridge and surrounding districts visited the home of Mr and Mrs Donald Clemow, who were recently married. After the party had welcomed home the guests-of-honour the guests adjourned to the Monavale Hall, where an enjoyable evening was spent in dancing. Mr Frank Hart Hicks, in a speech of welcome, proposed the toast of Mr and Mrs Donald Clemow, after which Mr K. Hannah, on behalf of the Monavale Settlers’ Association, made them a presentation. Mr Donald Clemow suitably replied. Among those present were:—.Mesdames R. C. Clemow, J. D. Clemow, A. J. Swavne. Stamford. Misses Mary and Marri Hicks. Kathleen Goodwin, Joan Hardy. Lois Amyes, Kathleen Tbbotson, Marlon Sutcliffe, Mary Turney, Nancy Moore, Mollie Foster. Henning.
