PIG BREEDERS’ YEAR SOUTH AUCKLAND BRANCH . . “I congratulate members on the splendid manner in which they have supported the shows and it is to be hoped that they will do their utmost to make the display at the Royal Show an outstanding one,” said Sir G. Jamieson, president of the South Auckland branch of the New Zealand Pig Breeders' Association in Ills report at the annual meeting in Hamilton, last evening. Mr Jamieson added that the branch was In a sound financial position. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr G. Jamieson; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs A. T. Rogers and E. J. Jones; secretary. Mr A. W. Green. It was decided that all junior pig judges should go before an examining committee before acting in the show ring, the following committee being elected: Messrs H. Webber. G. Jamieson. A. T. Rogers, C. S. Mexted and R. Cliilcott, junr.
